📣 Calling All High School Speakers!Rotary on the Ridge is hosting our 2026 Oratory Competition — open to all 9th–12th graders in public, private, charter, and homeschool programs.
🗣 Speech Requirements
• 5–7 minutes (15-second grace; penalties for going over/under)
• Original speech based on the Rotary theme: “Unite for Good”
• Include facts, stories, examples, quotes — make it yours!
• No names, schools, or cities in the speech
• Notes allowed at Club Level; not allowed at Group or District Levels
💯 Judging Categories
Content • Organization • Delivery (Total: 100 points)
Memorized speeches make a strong impression!
⏱ Timekeeping
All speeches must stay within the 5–7 minute window.
