High Road Album Release Party!

Winnipeg band, High Road, is having their debut album release on June 13th, 2026 at the West End Cultural Centre.

About The Heart, features 13 songs written over a 10-year period, expressing themes of love, connection, freedom, and spiritual awareness. Recorded in 432 Hz, the frequency of the heart, and produced by Keith Dyck, mixed by Paul Yee, formerly of Stereobus Recording, and mastered by Allen Hunnie, this album transcends genres and generations and is sure to be a breath of fresh air in a world saturated by AI and sorely lacking in fresh, new rock & roll, positive lyrics and high vibrations.

Blending reggae, roots, and rock & roll into an uplifting, high-energy sound, High Road is fronted by vocalist and songwriter, Leane Koss, together with her husband, guitarist Keith Dyck, a veteran in the Winnipeg music scene, her daughter, Rhea Thiessen, on ukulele and back-up vocals, Martin Valach, a staple in the reggae music scene, on drums, and Brian Ring and Edgar Ozolins on bass guitar. They will be joined by Murray Pulver of Crash Test Dummies and Doc Walker fame, slaying it on guitar, and M’Pho Mambira of Zimbabwe on hand drums and percussion.

Formed in 2018, High Road creates music that is both soulful and celebratory, delivering a message of hope and unity wrapped in rhythms that invite audiences to move, reflect, and rejoice. Known for vibrant live performances full of warmth and joy, the band brings a sound that is energetic and deeply heartfelt. Fans of Heart, Michael Franti, and Bob Marley will feel right at home. https://www.highroad.live
