High Quality Reading Instruction - Session 1/3

We are delighted to host a series of free CPD event 'High quality reading instruction' aimed at SLT, Literacy Leads & Teachers.

The evidence tells us that high quality teaching is the most important factor when it comes to improving attainment outcomes for all pupils but particularly for disadvantaged and SEND pupils. High quality, inclusive teaching is the greatest lever for closing the gap, so developing this, should be where our greatest efforts are exerted. Ensuring an effective reading teacher is in front of every class, and that every teacher is supported to keep improving, is the key ingredient of a successful reading offer.
