High Desert 2024 Backpack Giveaway

One Ticket per family.

Festival Event will include, in addition to fully stocked backpacks, fresh food, clothing and shoe giveaway, Haircuts, Immunization Shots, Books, facepainting and interactive art tables for Students and information tables for a variety of services from School Districts, Legal services and Utility Assistance programs. There is also a Raffle ticket given to each child and the Raffle Gifts are given away from 11:30am-12:00pm.

This event is for Low-income qualifying students (See Income Qualification below) with proof of designated residence in the following cities (Hesperia, Lucerne Valley, Oak Hills, Oro Grande, Phelan, Pinon Hills and Silver Lakes). Apple Valley, Adelanto and Barstow are hosting their own Backpack Giveaway Events - if you are a student in these school districts you must go to that school district to receive Backpacks. Your registration will be cancelled if your residence is outside of our Service Area.
