Join our Roadside Conservation Officer on a guided walk along a local roadside to discover wildflowers, grasses and native plants that make our roadsides biodiversity hotspots. You’ll learn how these narrow strips of vegetation help wildlife move across the landscape and why protecting them matters.
Biodiversity along Hobbs Road is actively managed to conserve and enhance its values and to provide resilience to the vegetation communities present.
Good to know:
- Meet at the Hobbs Rd MTB Trailhead Car Park. Google recognises this car park in maps - it is closer to the Melton Road end of Hobbs Road.

- In the event of wild weather, this event may be cancelled at short notice. Enter your mobile number when registering so we can contact you at short notice.
- This walk will be along a roadside. Although a quiet dirt road, there will be some traffic. A moderate level of fitness is required.
