Students at Halifax County High School are partnering with Southside Behavioral Health and the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office to bring nationally recognized prevention expert Tall Cop Jermaine Galloway to HCHS for his “Hidden in Plain Sight” presentation. This interactive program helps parents, educators, and community members recognize everyday items that may be used to hide drug or alcohol use and learn about current substance trends, warning signs, and prevention strategies. The event promotes open conversations, healthy choices, mental wellness, and community collaboration to help keep Halifax County youth safe.
