Human trafficking is often closer than we think. It can happen in any community, and the people being trafficked may not look like victims.
About this Event

That can make the signs easy to miss.

Trafficking also doesn’t always begin with a stranger or a dramatic abduction. It can start with someone gaining a person’s trust, offering attention or support, and gradually taking advantage of their vulnerabilities.

That’s why knowing what to look for matters.

Hidden in Plain Sight: A Human Trafficking Awareness Forum will bring together experts and organizations working to prevent human trafficking and support survivors for a moderated panel discussion. Young people, parents, educators, and community members are encouraged to attend.

Panelists will discuss common grooming techniques, warning signs to watch for, practical ways to help prevent trafficking, resources available to those who need help, and current efforts to combat human trafficking.

Human trafficking can be hidden in plain sight. Come learn how to recognize the signs, help prevent trafficking, and be part of creating safer communities.

The event is free and open to the public. Food will be provided.

The forum is presented by , , and .
