Hidden Gardens 2026

A rare chance to glimpse behind the gates and garden walls of St Andrews and discover the secret places hidden behind the façades of our historic town.
We have 15 gardens open this year, most of which are within easy walking distance of one another in the heart of St Andrews. From ducks to doocots, there is something to delight everyone!
Our headquarters will be at 46 South Street, where we will host a variety of stalls in a festive atmosphere. Some familiar favourites include Jill’s homemade textiles and preserves, as well as the Fife Beekeepers, who will be selling their own honey—they sold out within the first hour last year!
At the Heritage Museum and Garden, Hidden Gardens ticket holders will be able to purchase discounted day admission to the museum for £1 (members free). There, you will have the opportunity to visit the New Garden Gallery, explore the New Treasures exhibition, and browse additional craft stalls and activities. You will also find the ever-popular strawberries and cream, along with storytelling sessions.
A great day out for families and friends of all ages!
Keep an eye out for garden story highlights and a visitor map.
Free parking is available at the Boys’ Brigade Hall.
Tickets: Trust Members and Students £9; Adults £12; Under-16s free.
