Welcome to the Hi-Performance Chili Cook Off!

Come join us at Performance Ford Of Moab for a spicy showdown of epic proportions! Our event will feature some of the most mouth-watering, taste-bud-tingling chili recipes you've ever experienced. Whether you're a chili connoisseur or just a fan of good food, this is the place to be.

Get ready to taste and vote for your favorite chili, prepared by talented cooks from all around. Enjoy the lively atmosphere, great company, and of course, lots of delicious chili to go around. Who will win the title of Chili Champion? You'll have to be there to find out!

Community Chili Cookoff Rules

 Entry Requirements 

•   All registrations must be submitted at least 3 days prior to the cookoff via QR code
•   All chili must be fully prepared before the event and brought ready to serve.
•   No onsite cooking allowed. 

Chili Guidelines 

•  Chili may contain any combination of meat, beans, vegetables, and spices.
•  Pre-cooked ingredients are fine, but the finished chili must be homemade. 
•  A minimum of 1 gallon must be provided for tasting/judging.
•  Chili must be kept hot until tasting is finished.
• Must have a sign telling people what is in your chili, spicy or not spicy, and what kind it is!

 Serving & Presentation 

•  Entrants must provide a serving spoon. Tasting cups and spoons will be supplied by the event. 
•  Chili should be labeled with your name/entry number. 
•  Decorative presentation is optional but encouraged. 
• Must bring own table and set up and clean up own station

Scoring & Awards

•   Each contestant will have a bucket at their station.
•  Attendees will be given tickets to cast their votes. After tasting, they drop a ticket into the bucket of their favorite chili and the person with the most tickets wins people’s choice.
•  Awards will include: People’s Choice, Best Overall Chili, Spiciest Chili, and Most Creative Chili. 

General Rules 

•  All chili must be ready to serve by 5PM.
•  Keep serving areas clean and safe. 
•  Event organizers may disqualify any entry that doesn’t meet food safety or fairness standards. 

Event Schedule (3 Hours) 

•  4:00 – 5:00 PM → Setup & Chili Check-In, Tasting Opens 
•  5:00 – 6:00 PM → Public Tasting & Voting
•  6:00 – 6:30 PM → Ticket Counting 
•  6:30 – 7:00 PM → Awards Ceremony & Closing
