Hi Hungry

Hi Hungry is a southeastern indie folk rock group inspired to create an atmosphere of charged jazz/bluegrass melodies, thoughtful indie songwriting, and elevated vocal harmonies. Originally formed in Charleston SC with five members, The trio now lives in Asheville and consists of guitar, mandolin, and cello to bring just the right amount of melody and percussion in a string band style. Our original music represents something we wanted to listen to ourselves in a genre that doesn't quite exist; reminiscent, unserious, beautiful, jarring, musical yet discordant.
