Join us for a powerful evening as we gather to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and celebrate the victory of the empty tomb. The cross was not the end of the story—it was the greatest demonstration of love the world has ever known. As the Bible says in Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
On that dark day at Calvary, Jesus endured suffering and shame, yet even in His pain He showed mercy, praying, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34). His love and forgiveness were poured out for all mankind.
But praise God, the grave could not hold Him! On the third day the angel declared the glorious news: “Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said.” (Matthew 28:5–6). Because Jesus lives, we have hope, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life.💛
