Hestiaa x Ellaa is hitting the road and headed
out east to Baba’s Lounge with their fiery tunes and songs🔥
Originally a montreal based duo, Rachel Campbell (fiddle/harp) and Brenna Logan (guitar) are joined by the lovely Galway fiddler, Ella Partington, for a series of collaborative shows.
Driven to get the crowd stompin’ and dancing, they’ve curated a concoction of traditional, modern and original material that’s heavily inspired by their Irish and eastern Canadian roots. With three voices, double fiddles and harp, their sound is comparable to artists like Solas, Siobhan Miller and Natalie Macmaster.
Joining the bill will be Charlottetown’s local harpist, Beatty. She boasts a catalogue of mostly Irish music, with a healthy amount of Scottish, Breton, and other tunes mixed in.
Having spent the last few years touring with punks, she’s ready to dust off her strings for a night of jigs, polkas, and reels, with a slow air or two for good measure.
