Er du nysgerrig på hestens anatomi og vil du gerne klædes på i forhold til en dybere forståelse omkring hesten, - er dette kursus noget for dig.
En faglig hestedissektion udført af dyrlæge Andrea Nissen hvor du vil møde høj videnskabeligt viden, - gennemgang af hestens anatomi med fokus på både struktur og funktion.
Hvem er Andrea Nissen
Hun er uddannet dyrlæge i 2009 med differentiering inden for hestesygdomme.
Specialiseret sig i ortopædi og biomekanik hos heste.
Undervist dyrlægestuderende 2006-2009 og i ortopædi 2010-2016
December 2015 bestået eksamen og fik titlen EDO® (Equine diplomat of Osteopathy).
Hun har egen virksomhed og bor til dagligt sammen med sin familie ved Kalundborg
Overordnet opbygning af dissektionen
Dissektionen vil normalt følge en logisk anatomisk rækkefølge: Men giv plads til fordybelse
1. Introduktion
Præsentation af formål (fx undervisning i bevægeapparatet eller organernes placering)
Kort gennemgang af hestens biologiske og anatomiske særpræg
Etiske overvejelser
2. Ydre anatomi
Gennemgang af hud, pels og kropsregioner
Identifikation af anatomiske pejlemærker (fx skulder, hofte, knæ)
3. Muskuloskeletalt system
Frilægning af muskler lag for lag
Forklaring af musklernes funktion i bevægelse
Analyse af sener og ledbånd, især i benene (meget centralt hos heste)
Demonstration af led og deres bevægelighed
4. Indre organer
Åbning af bug- og brysthule
Gennemgang af:
Fordøjelsessystem (mave, tarme – med fokus på hestens komplekse tarmsystem)
Kredsløb (hjerte og blodkar)
Åndedrætssystem (lunger og luftveje)
Forklaring af organernes samspil og funktion
5. Specifikke fokusområder
Afhængigt af formålet kan Andrea Nissen fremhæve:
Haltheder og skader i bevægeapparatet
Kolik og fordøjelsesproblemer
Sammenhæng mellem anatomi og kliniske symptomer
6. Pædagogisk formidling
Løbende forklaringer i et klart, fagligt sprog
Sammenligning med levende heste (funktionel anatomi)
Mulighed for spørgsmål og dialog (hvis det er en undervisningssituation)

Are you curious about equine anatomy and would you like to gain a deeper understanding of the horse? Then this course is for you.
A professional horse dissection conducted by veterinarian Andrea Nissen, where you will gain access to highly scientific knowledge and a detailed review of the horse’s anatomy, with focus on both structure and function.
Who is Andrea Nissen?
She graduated as a veterinarian in 2009 with specialization in equine diseases.
She has specialized in equine orthopedics and biomechanics.
* Taught veterinary students from 2006–2009 and orthopedics from 2010–2016
* Passed the examination in December 2015 and earned the title EDO® (Equine Diplomat of Osteopathy)
* Runs her own practice and lives near Kalundborg with her family
Overall Structure of the Dissection
The dissection will generally follow a logical anatomical sequence while allowing room for in-depth exploration.
1. Introduction
* Presentation of the purpose (e.g. teaching the musculoskeletal system or organ placement)
* Brief review of the horse’s biological and anatomical characteristics
* Ethical considerations
2. External Anatomy
* Review of skin, coat, and body regions
* Identification of anatomical landmarks (e.g. shoulder, hip, knee)
3. Musculoskeletal System
* Layer-by-layer exposure of muscles
* Explanation of muscle function in movement
* Analysis of tendons and ligaments, especially in the legs (a key area in horses)
* Demonstration of joints and their range of motion
4. Internal Organs
* Opening of the abdominal and thoracic cavities
* Review of:
* Digestive system (stomach and intestines – with focus on the horse’s complex intestinal system)
* Circulatory system (heart and blood vessels)
* Respiratory system (lungs and airways)
* Explanation of how the organs interact and function together
5. Specific Focus Areas
Depending on the purpose, Andrea Nissen may highlight:
* Lameness and musculoskeletal injuries
* Colic and digestive disorders
* The relationship between anatomy and clinical symptoms
