After 27 years of honorable service to the United States Army, SFC Matthew Montag retires with a legacy of leadership, dedication, and countless accomplishments. This is not the end of the book—only the closing of one remarkable chapter written in service to others. Family and friends stand proud and grateful for the sacrifices made along the way. Now, with honor earned and duty fulfilled, it is time to lay the rifle to rest.
Please join us at Ryders Road House in Wisconsin Rapids on February 7th, 2026, starting at 6pm. Food will be provided. We will be between in the banquet hall but the bar is attached. DJ Shane will be playing for us. The bar attached will have beverages for purchase.
