❓ How do I get my wristband?
🎟️ Tickets are exchanged for wristbands at the Herts Pride Box Office, located at the entrance into the Community Wellbeing Zone (Wellbeing Marquee).
❓ Can I buy tickets on the day?
ℹ️ A limited number may be available at the Box Office at a higher price — we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment and to save money.
❓ Is there an After Party?
🎉 Yes! Popworld Watford, 10:00 PM until late.
💸 Free entry with your Herts Pride wristband.
❓ What about alcohol, food & security?
🍺 Herts Pride is a licensed event — no alcohol can be brought into or out of the event.
🥪 You are welcome to bring a picnic, but please note:
-No alcohol permitted
-Only sealed bottles of water or soft drinks are allowed
💧 In line with licensing law, free tap water is available at the pop-up bar. Water and soft drinks will also be on sale from vendors on site.
🔞 A strict Challenge 25 policy will be in place — please bring valid ID.
👜 Bag checks will be carried out at the entrance.
❓ What facilities are on site?
🚻 There will be portable toilets, including general accessible toilets and baby changing facilities.
🚐💙 We’re also proud to welcome back The RevoLOOtion – A Vehicle for Change, a fully accessible mobile facility ensuring dignity and inclusion for disabled children and adults. Sponsored by Proud Watford and Compass Residential.
♿ Please note: the event is held on grass parkland. While most areas are accessible, there may naturally be some bumps and dips in the ground.
❓ Can I bring my dog?
🐕 Yes — well-behaved dogs are welcome, but:
• Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
• No dogs are permitted inside the Just Smile Big Top.
• Please bring poop bags and clean up after your dog — bins are provided on site.
• In hot weather, please take care to ensure the welfare of your dog.
❓ Travel information
🚗 We recommend using the local car parks in Watford town centre — it’s much easier than trying to park nearer to Cassiobury Park. From there, it’s just a short walk to the festival.
🚆 Watford also has excellent train and underground links, making public transport the easiest option.
❓ Payments
💳 Most bars, stalls, and vendors accept card payments, but we recommend bringing some cash just in case.
❓ Family-friendly?
👨👩👧👦 Absolutely — Herts Pride is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages.
❓ First aid & welfare
⛑️ St John Ambulance will be on site throughout the day. If you need help or feel unwell, please speak to a steward who will direct you to the first aid point.
❓ Respect the park
🌳 Please help us take care of Cassiobury Park by using the onsite bins. It really helps us and our volunteers when we’re clearing the event area on the Sunday after Pride — and keeps the park looking beautiful for everyone.

👗 Dress for the weather — Pride goes ahead rain or shine, so come prepared for sun, showers, or both! 🌞🌧️
