Herts & Minds: Exploring Opportunities in The Space & Defence Sector at UoH

This exciting event, held in the amazing SPECTRA building and themed around key competencies of UoH- which include Astrophysics, Aerospace engineering, Satellite Communications and Bio-detection, Aerosol Science and Agriculture- will look to foreground collaborative opportunities for businesses and SMEs in the Space and Defence sectors.

The event includes Laboratory tours, presentations and talks on key collaborative projects within UH's Centres for Engineering Research, Astrophysics Research and the Wolfson Centre for Biodetection and Instrumentation with partners (such as The National Composite Centre, MBDA, Airbus, European Space Agency and SMEs specialising in Space), as well as the latest information on funding pathways from Space East and Hertfordshire Futures. The event will also feature roundtable discussions, a dedicated business exhibition forum, networking opportunities and face to face introductions and discussions.

Event attendees will be drawn from Hertfordshire and the wider Eastern region and will be limited to 100 businesses, so booking early is essential. If you wish to have a stand within our dedicated business forum area, please get in touch as soon as possible, as places are limited.

As with all Space East events, this opportunity is completely free to attend, and lunch and refreshments will be provided.
