Herstory Fundraising Gala

Join the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre for the Herstory Gala on Tuesday March 4 at D/6 Bar & Lounge at Parq Casino.

Now in its 9th year the unforgettable event will include drinks and complimentary hors d’oeuvres; inspirational speakers; coveted live and silent auctions; breathtaking live performances; and more all in support of raising awareness and support for DEWC services while celebrating the strength and power of the women the organization serves. A highlight of the evening women of the community will be performing in a signature fashion show expressing their personal style and power.

Since 1978 DEWC’s mission has been to provide basic needs and positive change for women and children in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. By attending and participating in the Herstory Gala you can help DEWC reach their fundraising goal of $250000 where your contribution will ensure that the Drop-In Centres remain a safe warm and welcoming community space and where women can access what they need to make positive change happen.
