Celebrate the launch of The Little Book of Big Poetry – a vibrant collection born from a culturally significant community writing project, part-funded by Portsmouth Creates. This inspiring book brings together voices that are often hidden, capturing moments of courage, creativity, and sheer determination behind Portsmouth’s history of female activism and agency.
This eclectic mix of work reflects a city that refuses to stay silent when it matters most – standing up, speaking out, and making a difference even in the toughest times.
The project has been managed by Associate Professor Dr Laurel Forster, and tutored by Dr Amanda Garrie.
