Heroes on the Water NJ is proud to host another event at Cupsaw Lake in Ringwood, NJ. This event is open to active and veteran military service members as well as first responders. This event is free to participants and requires no fishing license. All kayaks, fishing tackle, and safety equipment are provided at the event. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Fishing Coach Volunteers Arrive by 8:00 AM & should be ready at 8:30 AM

Land Volunteers Should Arrive by 8:00 AM

Veterans, Participants and Family Members should arrive between 8:45 AM & 9:00 AM

Weather Considerations: Events are rain or shine, dress appropriately for the weather. You will be notified if the event is cancelled for any reason. You may get wet during the outing. Its always a good idea to pack extra dry clothes for the way home.

Tickets: The event is free, but for tracking purposes please select the appropriate ticket for the event.

**A NOTE ABOUT NON-SERVICE DOGS**

This venue is a private lake. Their bylaws prohibit Non-Service Dogs on the property. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability. This does not include emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals. These terms are used to describe animals that provide comfort just by being with a person. Because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task, they do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and are not allowed at our events.
