🌞🏅 Hero Families Summer Sports Day & Picnic! 🏃♂️
Danielle, Ian and family are excited to invite all of our amazing Hero Families to a FREE Family Fun Sports Day on Southsea Common!
This relaxed event is our way of bringing everyone together for a few hours of laughter, sunshine, and some classic old-school sports day fun.
🗓 Time: 11am – 3pm
📍 Location: Southsea Common (exact spot will be announced closer to the time once we find the perfect space)
Feel free to drop in anytime between 11 and 3 and stay as long as you like.
Bring along:
🧺 Your own food for a big picnic on the common
💧 Plenty of water
😄 Your best competition face
We’ll be running some classic sports day games including:
🥄 Egg & Spoon Race
👣 Three-Legged Race
🐰 Space Hopper Race
🎭 Dress-Up Relay
⚾ Rounders
💪 Tug of War
For anyone who would rather stay on the sidelines, we’ll also be running a Get Creative Summer Drawing Competition! 🎨
Bring along your pens, pencils and paper and create a picture inspired by the day. Whether it’s the sports, the picnic, or the fun on the common, we’d love to see your artwork. It’s a lovely way to relax, get creative and still be part of the fun!
Parents will get to relive their childhood sports days, while the kids will see what a proper sports day is all about!
🏅 Certificates and medals will be up for grabs for both kids AND parents, so expect some friendly competition!
Most importantly, it’s about bringing our Hero Families together, enjoying the summer and making some brilliant memories.
