Interested in being a vendor at the Hernando Farmers Market? Join the Hernando Farmers Market Annual Vendor Meeting
When: Thursday, March 6th at 9AM
Where: City Hall Board Room - 475 West Commerce Street, Hernando, MS 38632
In person and virtual option
The meeting is for current vendors and those interested in becoming a vendor. There will be a review of the farmers market guidelines, Mississippi sales tax regulations with the Mississippi Department of Revenue, updates on the Produce Safety Rules, EBT, Farmers Market Nutrition Voucher program, and the Genuine MS program with the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce.
Those interested in selling canned or baked goods are required to take a general food safety class offered for free with the MSU Extension office at 662-469-8480 or 662-449-9127 to register.
Mobile Unit Inspections for permits and scale certifications will be offered at the meeting. Please bring your mobile units and scales.
