Hernando County Candidate Forum

This nonpartisan forum will include the 2026 Hernando County School Board, BOCC, State Rep 52 and 53, as well as Congressional District 15 candidates. All candidates in each race have been invited to participate. Each candidate will introduce themselves, answer at least 3 questions and make closing remarks. Participation of the following candidates have been confirmed: All candidates in BOCC District 2 (Dukes, Glenn, Birren, Greenwell, Scavetta); Marvin Baynham and Jeff Holcomb- County Commission District 4; Mark Johnson- School Board District 1 ; Luciano Vignali- School Board District 3; Kara Champion and Amanda Cunningham-Rud-School Board District 5; Pamala Bivins - State Rep 52; Brian Hawkins - State Rep 53; Angie Boone, Chris Irizarry- US Congressional Dist. 15.
