Join us for an infomal screening of Big Mill .( 25 mins)

In 1962 the Films of Scotland Committee and steelmaker Colvilles commissioned a documentary film about the new hot strip mill at Ravenscraig Steel Works. Directed by Laurence Henson it is one of Scotland’s most enduring documentary films.

In addition Ravenscraig photo albums from the local studies collection will be available to browse.

Refreshments will be served.

All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanined by an adult.
