The South Derbyshire Mining Preservation Group will be hosting an exhibition of their mining artefacts for Heritage Open Days 2025.
Founded by a local man whose grandfather was a miner, an organisation that is helping to preserve mining heritage within the area. Over the weekend many of the items from the collection will be on display including lamps, tools, mining tags, documents and ledgers will be on display.
September 13th & 14th – 11am to 4.30pm both days
Access Information: The building is wheelchair accessible, display on the ground floor.
Booking: No booking required.
