Founded in 1904, the Lincoln Home provided care and education for African American children and was supported by all 16 Federated Colored Women’s Clubs across Colorado - highlighting a powerful legacy of Black women’s advocacy and community leadership.✨About the speaker: Ray Brown is a Colorado native, Army veteran, former educator, and community leader with deep ties to Pueblo and a lifelong commitment to history, civic engagement, and public service.✨
