This award-winning living history event showcases the skills and craftsmanship of 18th and 19th century pioneers and Native Americans. Thirteen heritage skills artisans and historical re-enactors will be surrounding the historic Belton Train Depot offering glimpses into the past lifestyles of our ancestors.
Come see the artisan demonstrations and try your hand at pioneer crafts and skills. History becomes a tangible and memorable experience as visitors gain first-hand knowledge through interactive presentations.
This day is designed specifically for home school groups only, but reservations are required. Home School co-ops and organizations are encouraged to sign up for educational field trip slots. Fee will be $5 per student, ages 6 - 18 to see 5 presenters and $10 per student to see 10 presenters. Parents and chaperones are free of charge. Please contact Alison Darby at 864-958-5264 for more information.
Everyone will enjoy these exhibitions as a family-friendly cultural and educational event.
