Hereward's Last Stand!Medieval Street Theatre - Outside Ely Cathedral with Rory G as Hereward the Wake.
Commemorating the Outlaw Hereward, commonly known as Hereward the Wake, on the 954th anniversary of the defeat of his rebel forces on the Isle of Ely to William the Conqueror on 27th October 1071.
Rory Gibson is now in his fourth year as Hereward and will be bringing you his special brand of medieval street theatre regaling tales of Hereward's exploits and his defence of the Isle of Ely.
He will be introduced by Historian David Maile of the WakeHereward Project,
Medieval Street Theatre.

OUTSIDE ELY CATHEDRAL
Monday 27th October at 1pm until 1:30pm.
From 1:30pm or thereabouts Hereward will then be at the VISIT ELY tourist office at Oliver Cromwell's House until 2pm or thereabouts.
Come greet the folk hero of the Fens.
