Hereford Christmas Light Switch On 2024

Hereford's Christmas light switch-on will take place next month – and we have all you need to know ahead of the event.

This year it’s time to feel the ‘Power of a Woman’ as Hereford City Council & Sunshine Radio present the free event of the year – The Hereford Christmas Lights Switch On Show supported by Outstanding Education!

Join us as special guests the legendary girl group ETERNAL headline our performances. With 15 back-to-back Top 20 hits we’re sure you’ll ‘Stay’ and enjoy a show that’ll be ‘Just a step from heaven’!

Local acts included the Hereford Rock Choir Lilac Loonies and One Vision School of Arts – plus kids favourites Olaf The Grinch and Elf on the Shelf will be making an appearance.

The Big Switch on is at 5….and the after party will be an amazing shindig with the UK’s #1 Paloma Faith tribute PURE PALOMA and her band!

"This year’s show has taken months to put together and all the acts have rehearsed to give the audience of thousands who come along a night to remember! Last year we surprised everyone with a video dial-in from Rick Astley as a surprise – what will we have up our sleeve this year?”
