**To register, visit https://recreation.meridian.mi.us/ and select the "Special Events" tab. The cost is $7**The Meridian Township Parks and Recreation Department invites you to celebrate the season with fellow pet lovers at their 'Here Comes Santa Paws' walk and picture event on Monday, December 16 from 5:45 pm to 8:00 pm.
Participants will check-in outside the Meridian Service Center (2100 Gaylord C. Smith Ct., Okemos) before taking a stroll through Nancy Moore Park for a photo with Santa!
The walk includes a 1/2 mile loop through the woods that leads to the Nancy Moore Park Pavilion, followed by a 1/2 mile walk back to where vehicles are parked. If needed, a shorter trail is available. Simply request the shorter trail when checking in.
Please note that only one owner per pet needs to sign up, and that dogs must be leashed at all times.
