HERD storytelling event at the Urban Growler

We are bringing a Moth-like storytelling evening to the women of the Twin Cities. The night's story theme is CRASH: Verb as in smash into pieces. Noun as in bang, as in boom.

Come to listen, or throw your name in the hat for the chance to tell your story to a crowd of women cheering you to success. Stories should be about you, true as you remember it, and stay under about 5 minutes.

Want to throw your name in the hat? If so, prepare a five minute story about the time you crashed the party, the mini van, or the choir risers. Tell us the tale of how you smashed through the glass ceiling or threw a punch at the patriarchy. Recount a moment when your perspective was jolted into a new reality, or a time you ran into a system error and instead of crashing, you found a new way. Let us know about a time you went out with a bang!

This is not a slam. We are not competing with each other- but coming together to support, cheer, and connect.

If you'd like help workshopping your story, come between 5:30 and 6:30 pm for the StoryLab - a chance to practice to a listener and get some quick feedback to help make the story shine.
