At this workshop we will be focusing on herbs that help to build, and strengthen our immune system. We will be concentrating on 12 different herbs that will help us through the winter cold and flu season. We will talk about the safety of these herbs, and any contraindications and cautions. We will also learn the different ways the herbs can be used, teas, soaks, tinctures, balms, oxymels, syrups, and more.
Each participant will receive a booklet containing the 12 herbs we discuss for their future reference. Also each person will get to make their own 6oz jar of tea to take home. We bring along about 30 different herbs to choose from.
pre-registration is required. Tickets can be purchased on our web-site or at Baums Natural Foods in Highland.
