In this class, instructor Patrick Calewarts will introduce you to several different types of popular herbs. You will learn the history of herbs and how far back they date, as well as how they were used in ancient times. More importantly, you will learn how to use them for culinary purposes, medicinal, purposes, and how to store and dry them for future use. In addition to that, you will also learn about the spiritual implications of various herbs.
Each person will be given a 16 inch container filled with premium soil. You will be able to select up to four herbs to plant in your container and then select one pollinator-friendly flower to plant in the middle to attract butterflies and bees. You will leave with a container garden filled with your favorite herbs.
