Join us to celebrate the life and work of Dorothy Day, co-founder of the Catholic Worker Movement and candidate for sainthood. Martha Hennessey, her granddaughter who continues her legacy, will be our special guest. The evening will feature a fireside chat with Martha, who will offer a unique, personal perspective on her grandmother’s enduring influence— and how her commitment to justice, faith, and compassion continues to inspire action in today’s world.
Villanova Law confers an honors designation, the Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service, upon graduating students who provided a significant amount of pro bono service to the poor. Alumni Awardees are invited to attend wearing their honor cords to be recognized during the program.
