Heppni Half Marathon

Runners will set off from the bakery and follow a thoughtfully designed 13.1-mile route that showcases some of York’s most iconic sights. From picturesque riverside paths to cobbled streets steeped in history, the course offers a rich mix of scenery and atmosphere. Along the way, participants will experience the city’s vibrant character, passing landmarks, green spaces, and hidden gems that make York so special.

The event is designed to be welcoming and community-focused, whether you’re an experienced runner chasing a personal best or simply looking to enjoy a scenic run with others. A convenient bag drop will be available at the start/finish area, allowing participants to run comfortably and not worry about little things, we've got that covered. With the start and finish line at Heppni, runners can look forward to a warm and rewarding finish—where every participant will receive a well-earned medal and a delicious pastry from the bakery.
