California State Park best top 5 is Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. This trail takes hikers through a variety of ecosystems and rewards those who make it to the observation deck with stunning views of Monterey Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountain ridges. This is the highest point of elevation in the park. Please keep in mind that dogs are only allowed on Pipeline Road. Visitors may not bring them to the Redwood Grove, or on the hike up to the observation deck.
Basic rules of hiking :
Stay on the trail.
Obey all road and trail closures and restrictions.
Respect wildlife & Pack out all trash.
Please consider your physical condition and make sure you are able to handle difficult-level hike of this length and altitude gain. Do not attend if you're sick. Please make a donation $5 - 10 group organizers appreciated you. 🤟
