Henderson Shines is an annual no-cost, community cleanup and recycling effort that gives our residents the opportunity to dispose of household hazardous materials like paint, oil and batteries, and recycle and/or donate other household goods responsibly. Last year residents helped us collect over 60 cubic-yards of paint, 30 cubic-yards of oil and 1,000 pounds of e-waste; all of which were properly disposed. The event also helped recycle 2,100 gallons of documents for shredding and over 3,100 pounds of donated household goods.
