Welcome to the largest international HEMA event in Slovenia, previously known as HEMA Celje.
As per tradition it will take place on the third weekend in September in Ljubljana.
What is it? ⚔️
HEMA Slovenica is a workshop-based event that brings together beginners and experienced practitioners from across Slovenia and abroad through workshops, sparring, lectures, social activities, and a shared passion for historical European martial arts.
💙 Until recently, this event was known as 𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗔 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗷𝗲 — a name with a long history, but one that no longer fully reflected what the event had become.
What is its purpose? 📜
Organized under HEMA Federation of Slovenia (HEMAFS), HEMA Slovenica continues the same mission and foundations that shaped previous editions — education, research, preservation of martial heritage, and building connections within the HEMA community.
What to expect?
