with Los Suplentes: Emiliano Faryna & Hugo Satorre
The duo Los Suplentes, formed by Emiliano Faryna and Hugo Satorre, began its journey in 2017 with a deeply milonguero proposal, featuring their own arrangements. Their aim is to recreate the characteristic sound of the great tango orchestras of the 1940s, adapted to the intimate format of bandoneon and guitar.
The essence of the duo lies in their oral arrangements, free from sheet music, which gives each performance freshness, spontaneity, and life. Whenever the space allows, they play in the center of the room, inviting dancers to move around them and transforming each milonga into an intimate celebration from the very first note.
They have performed in some of the most renowned milongas of Buenos Aires and brought their art to more than ten European countries, with over 250 concerts and five successful international tours.
In 2021, they released two albums, A la Pista!!! and Nuevas Composiciones, available both physically and on digital platforms. In 2024, they presented their most recent work, Otra Vuelta.
With a long artistic path behind them, and recognitions including a Latin Grammy nomination and the Carlos Gardel Award, Emiliano and Hugo continue to travel the world with their Argentine music, bringing tango to every dance floor.
