Kennedy Music Management presents their first showcase event at Angels Cut in Darlington. The event will feature three extremely talented North East based acts.
Hels Pattison -
Having performed at Angels Cut earlier this year, Hels Pattison will return to top the bill, this time bringing some of her band along for the ride, where they will present a stripped back set. Hels Pattison is a UK Americana artist based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Blending traditional country soul with a raw contemporary edge, she has quickly become a standout voice in the North East. Fresh from an extensive UK tour and celebrating the release of her last single Unsympathetic, Hels has brought honest, heart-on-her-sleeve songwriting to stages across the country, cementing her reputation as a captivating live performer.
Anna Karila & Josh Atkinson (Duo) -
A regular at Angels Cut, Anna Karila recently introduced herself with her debut single “Sweet”. The song delivers an intimate reflection on emotional resilience. With her debut release, the emerging North east-based singer-songwriter secured her space in the folk/americana scene with her intimate, finger-picked commentary on the ways we learn to harden our softer sides to survive. In recent times Anna has supported the likes of Smith & Liddle, Elaine Palmer, Robyn Errico, Austel and many more.
On this occasion, Anna will be performing alongside North East based singer-songwriter Josh Atkinson, who also performs with Teeside based indie/rock group Nice Guy. Anna and Josh will be sharing songs from each other's repertoire, in what will be an extremely special and first of it's kind set.
Hewittson -
County Durham based singer/songwriter Hewittson will complete the bill. Blending soulful vocals with stripped back arrangements, Emma recently supported Austel at Little Buildings in Newcastle. She is not to be missed.
