Some of the most memorable improvisers aren’t the ones trying hardest to be funny—they’re the ones everyone loves to play with.

In this workshop, we’ll explore the art of generosity onstage. Through playful exercises and scene work, you’ll practice listening deeply, recognizing opportunities, and making choices that support and elevate your scene partners. You’ll discover how treating your partner’s ideas as valuable, giving them meaningful gifts, and responding with curiosity creates scenes that are more connected, surprising, and satisfying for both performers and audience.

Paradoxically, when you stop trying to make yourself look good and instead focus on helping your partner succeed, everyone shines. Join us for an afternoon of building trust, strengthening ensemble, and creating the kind of scenes that only happen when we make each other better.

We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. Refunds / Transfers / Exchanges

All sales are final. If you’re unable to attend class, please notify BATS Improv before the class begins to receive credit toward a different class. Credits are not prorated for individual missed classes within a series.

Canceled Classes

If BATS Improv cancels a class, you may choose between a credit toward a different class or a refund to your original payment method.
