About This Professional Event
The start of a new school year can be an emotional rollercoaster —full of excitement, uncertainty, and stress. For many students, the transition back to school brings heightened anxiety and difficulty regulating emotions, all of which can impact classroom behavior, engagement, and learning.
This event is designed to help educators and professionals recognize and respond to the social-emotional challenges students face as they re-enter the school environment. We’ll explore what the latest research tells us about child development, stress responses, and emotional regulation.
About The Professional Event Series
We are hosting a series of free professional events to support evidence-based practice in children’s mental health. This is an opportunity for pediatricians, teachers, educational consultants, and mental health professionals to collaborate and network to support youth mental health. We hope you will join us.
