Our friend, neighbor, and owner of the Hazelwood Cafe, Dasawn Grey has been in the hospital since just after Christmas. Because of his hospitalization, the cafe has also been closed. If you know Dasawn, you know his generous spirit and how hard he works to help others in the Hazelwood community - and now it’s our turn to help him cover some medical bills, make up for lost income, and get him back on his feet without worry!
In partnership with Offroute Art, the Hazelwood Brew House will be hosting a fundraiser for Dasawn on Saturday, February 1 from 6 to 9 pm! Not only will both Abstract Realm and New France donate $1 per drink sold during the event directly to Dasawn, we’ll also have raffles from local artists and businesses, and food from Comfort and Spice - who will also donate a portion of their proceeds that evening.
