Help Remove Introduced Vegetation at the Naval Support Activity Dunes

Come join us for a day of community service at the Naval Support Activity Dunes! We need your help to remove introduced plants that are threatening the habitat available to the endangered Monterey Sand Gilia, and threatened Monterey Spineflower. This is a great opportunity to give back to nature and make a difference in your community on National Public Lands Day.

Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location: Naval Support Activity Dunes (Meeting at the Monterey Peninsula Recreational Trail Parking Lot)

No experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and a positive attitude! We will provide all the tools and training you need. Don't forget to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
