Help Provide Mobile Showers to the Houseless Community

Showers are provided on Thursdays 9am-1pm at the Olympia Union Gospel Mission. 413 Franklin St NE. Olympia WA

There are three areas we are recruiting for:

Driver with Mechanical knowledge - setting up the equipment which breaks down into 3 sections:

• Grey water setup
• Fresh water setup
• General setup ie canopies supply tubs tables and signs

Shower Operations - Working with guests:

• Setup Assistants
• Intake & Scheduling
• Hygiene Supplies
• Cleaning and Disinfecting shower stalls
• Teardown Assistants

Outreach - Helping to bring others to the cause

• Putting Up Flyers
• Inviting Potential Volunteers or Donors
• Spreading the word via email or social media

Bus Building - Building out buses for services and housing

• Bus Renovation
• Carpentry and Construction
• Plumbing electrical solar etc

Lisa's dedication to service and her passion for creating positive change led to the birth of our organization. We understand that life can take unexpected turns and it's our mission to provide support and hope to those who need it most.
