Join The Salvation Army in Greater New York to help alleviate hunger every weekday from 10am - 1pm in the Harlem community.
At our Harlem Temple location, volunteers play a direct role in supporting our neighbors facing food insecurity. This opportunity offers hands-on engagement that makes an immediate and tangible impact.
Volunteer activities may include:
- Assisting with food pantry organization and shelf stocking
- Supporting food distribution to community members
- Preparing and packaging meals
- Helping create a welcoming and dignified experience for those we serve
Through these efforts, your team helps ensure that New Yorkers in need have access to nutritious food and essential support.
