Welcome to Helly Hansen Hikes!

In celebration of summer 2026, and Helly Hansen's Open Mountain Month, we are proud to once again return with a wide selection of exciting in-person hiking events this summer at select Vail resort locations: Heavenly, Beaver Creek, Stevens Pass and Mt. Snow!

Get ready to explore the great outdoors, meet fellow hiking enthusiasts, and enjoy the stunning views of nature. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just starting out, this FREE event is perfect for all skill levels. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with nature and have a great time. Lace up your hiking boots and get ready for an adventure!

Registration: This is a free to enter experience! all you need to do is register for your "ticket" here on eventbrite. Your name will be added to the attendee list for the event and our team will be ready to meeto you at the dsesignated place and time. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND! please cancel your ticket so someone else can take your spot :) We have limited space for each event and would love to see them all full.

Trailhead Access: Participants will be provides with one time use lift passes as part of this hosted activity. Participants must have reliable transportation to the meeting location with the rest of the group or subsequently to the designated trailhead. While our guides will do their best to choose a trail with lift access, weather conditions and snowmelt may affect decision-making. Helly Hansen will ensure prompt communication regarding any change of plans.​

Physical Fitness Abilities: Participants should be in good physical condition and able to hike for extended periods over challenging terrain. A minimum fitness level may be required, such as being able to walk a certain distance or climb a certain elevation gain without difficulty.

Health Requirements: Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may affect their ability to hike safely. They should also be prepared to provide emergency contact information and any necessary medical documentation.​

Equipment: Participants are responsible for bringing their own hiking gear, including appropriate clothing, footwear, backpack, water, snacks, sunscreen and any other necessary equipment. We will provide a recommended packing list before the event.​

Age Restrictions: This event is open to participants 18 years of age or older*

*Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian​

Liability Waivers: Participants may be required to sign a liability waiver acknowledging the risks associated with hiking, including but not limited to falls, injuries, wildlife encounters, and adverse weather conditions.​

Environmental Awareness: Participants should respect the natural environment and adhere to Leave No Trace principles, including packing out all trash, staying on designated trails, and avoiding damage to vegetation and wildlife habitats.​

Pets: No animals are allowed at this event, except for trained service animals.

Food: Come prepared with appropriate food and water for a 4 hour hike.

Mid-Station Trailhead

Info: • Martin’s Peak Trail 0.2 Miles | 102 ft Elevation Gain Spectacular views short and easy hike
• (Please add to website) Mid-Station Connector 0.9 miles 260 ft Elevation Gain Great lake views pretty much the whole time.


Black Bear Hollow Trailhead (top of gondola)

Info: • Loop Trail 0.3 Miles | 30 ft Elevation Gain (Great path with a few interactive features)
• Cal Trail Lookout 0.4 Miles | 30 ft Elevation Gain (good views of the upper California skiable terrain)
• Tamarack Trail 1.3 Miles | 584 ft Elevation Gain (Can be hiked in either direction with the assistance of Tamarack Chairlift excellent views of both the lake and valley)
• Silver Rush Trail 1.1 Miles | 683 ft Elevation Gain (Out and back hike totaling 2.1 miles, ends at East Peak Lake, great views of the Carson Valley)


Top of Tamarack Chair Trailhead

Info: • Carson Valley Overlook 0.3 Miles | 60 ft Elevation Gain Easy quick hike from the TOG Area. Great views of the Carson Valley
• Skyline Trail 0.9 Miles | 230 ft Elevation Gain Best view of the lake
• Tamarack Trail 1.3 Miles | 584 ft Elevation Gain (Can be hiked in either direction with the assistance of Tamarack Chairlift excellent views of both the lake and valley)
