Hellripper
Crowned “Scotland’s King of the arcane mosh” by Metal Hammer magazine, Hellripper aims to invoke the quintessential “black ‘n’ roll” sound, mixing influences from classic 80’s black metal records with a more modern edge. Heavily inspired by witchcraft and the supernatural, Hellripper is also deeply rooted in its Scottish origins, using the landscape, legends and historical events as a backdrop for its lyrics and imagery. Hellripper is fast, loud and uncompromising. All hail the goat!
Necrofier
Of course, the USA has had a black metal scene since the early 90s, developing in its own obscure, eccentric directions. But Necrofier are among a gathering spearhead of US bands taking the genre's ancient Scandinavian roots and replanting them on a wide American prairie. "Black metal in America has always been different than in Europe," asserts the band, "but I think there's been a siren song in the USA for this style of BM to be created here. Something in the zeitgeist has pulled it forward, and bands like Uada, Hulder, Lamp of Murmuur, Blackbraid and Cloak have all been really carrying the torch. Some of the reason is that America is starving when it comes to it, we rarely see European black metal tours. I think it created something where we and the others had to walk the left hand path so we can have this in America."
Sarcator
The Swedish Black/Thrash Metal four-piece Sarcator was formed in 2018 by vocalist and guitarist Mateo Tervonen, bassist Felix Lindkvist & drummer Jesper Rosén. Emil Eriksson joined the band on second guitar the following year.
In 2019 when they were in the age span of 14-20 years old, they released their first demo cassette Visions of Purgatory via the american label Redefining Darkness Records.
The year after that, their death-thrashing Self-titled debut album was released by the same label and it got nominated for the best Rock/Metal in a swedish music award known as P3 Guld.
Second full-length album Alkahest had a more experimental approach to it, where they included influences from dark rock music, postpunk and other genres of music to their sound.
It was released in November 4th, 2022 via the swedish label Black Lion Records.
Now after the pandemic, the band have started to play live shows. Playing festivals and clubs, supporting both albums that together creates a very intense, dark and aggressive atmosphere.
In the winter of 2023, the band entered the studio to record their third full-length album, which was the last thing that former guitarist Emil Eriksson contributed on. The band's new guitarist Leo Buchalle was announced in the end of May 2024.
