Many people are unaware that several members of the Jabbawockeez are from the Northern California (Sac, San Jose, Seaside). But before the Jabbawockeez, there was BOOM SQUAD (Followed by Flava Unit), where the legendary Gary Kendell (RIP) helped bring the iconic white mask concept to life in a performance piece titled “The Matrix”. In honor of the Seaside Native and Queer Icon, GARY KENDALL, and the legacy that helped shape one of HipHop’s most recognizable dance aesthetics, come dressed in all black with white gloves, white shoes, a white mask, black and/or white joker hat.
NOTE: The white mask is only required during your 10s. Once you receive your 10s, you may remove your mask for battles if you choose.
