Heli Laughs: A night of comedy in aid of Great Western Air Ambulance Charity

Back at the iconic Bristol Old Vic for our sixth year, we are delighted to host an evening of the biggest laughs from Bristol and the UK’s best comedians! 100% of proceeds will go to support the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and their lifesaving mission. In it's previous five years, Heli Laughs has raised over £67,000.
About the comedians
Hosting the evening and keeping everyone laughing is Welsh comedian Keri Pritchard-McLean; a multi-award winning comedian, satirist and writer. Her recent credits include hosting Live at the Apollo and appearances on HIGNFY, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, QI and Frankie Boyle's New World Order.
The wonderful Michael Odewale will be joining us too. A fresh and unfiltered voice known for delivering sharp and beautifully executed content, his debut show #BlackBearsMatter won Best Show at both the 2019 Leicester Comedy Festivals and achieved critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe 2019, earning him a nomination for Best Newcomer in the Dave Edinburgh Comedy Awards. His impressive performance credits include Live at The Apollo, Friday Night Live and Live from The Moth Club.
We love to showcase some local comedic talent and welcome Bristol's very own Burt Williamson, who is quickly making an impression for himself on the South West comedy circuit. A perpetual man-child who takes himself seriously so you don’t have to, Burt is ever ready to bring his brand of enthusiastic sarcasm to any stage.
Combining his confident on stage presence, dark humour, surreal material and his one-of-kind customised keyboard, Huge Davies has quickly risen to become one the most memorable and hilarious acts in the UK. Huge debuted his first show ‘The Carpark’ at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019. A complete sell-out, it received multiple five-star reviews and an Edinburgh Award Nomination for Best Newcomer. The show was featured as Time Out’s No.1 comedy show to see, had three runs at the Soho Theatre following excessive demand and filmed as a special by LA based company 800 Pound Gorilla Media. His second show ‘Whodunnit’ and third ‘Album 4 My Ancestors (dead)’ were also fully sold out, received multiple five star reviews and is currently on a national tour.
