Formed in 2000, Helgrind are UK thrash veterans known for their fierce, no-compromise sound and relentless energy. With a legacy that includes support slots for metal heavyweights like Obituary, Enthroned, and Discharge, plus standout performances at Hammerfest and Beermageddon, they’ve earned a reputation as underground icons. Their discography spans five studio albums and fan-favourite tracks like “Death Squad,” “Evil Inside,” and “Dead Army,” blending brutal thrash with melodic flair. Jackals Backbone are a fierce, female-fronted metal powerhouse from North Herts, ripping through a fierce mix of sludge, death, and trad metal with relentless groove and punch. Their live shows hit like a punk rock riot — wild, raw, and impossible to stand still to. With a standout performance at Bloodstock Festival 2019 under their belt, they bring savage riffs and unyielding energy every time they hit the stage.

Entry £8 advance (plus 10% online booking fee)/£10 on the door.
Age: persons aged 16+ may attend without a chaperone provided they have photo ID – younger patrons can be signed in at the door and accompanied for the duration of the show by a responsible adult.

We are just a 5-minute stroll from the station; like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge, Peterborough and London.
